Reset your password

For: Pilots · Hangar admins · Mechanics

Forgotten your password? Reset it from the sign-in screen, with a link RampMates emails you. If you’re signed in and know your current password, change it on Your account instead – see Change your name, email, password or photo.

  1. On the Log in screen, press Forgot password?.
  2. Type your email address and press Send reset link.
  3. Open the email Reset your RampMates password and press Reset password. The link works for 1 hour.
  4. On Set a new password, type a new password of at least 8 characters and press Update password.
  5. When you see Password updated, press the login page and sign in with the new password.

If you asked for more than one link, any of them works – but once one has been used, the rest stop working.

  • No email arrives. For privacy, the screen says “If that email is registered, a reset link is on its way.” whether or not RampMates knows the address – so check it’s the address you sign in with, and look in your spam folder. See I didn’t get an email.
  • “Token has expired”. The link is more than 1 hour old. Start again from Forgot password?.
  • “This reset link has already been used”. The password has been changed since this link was sent. Start again if you still need to.
  • “Invalid token”, or “This link is missing its token”. The link didn’t arrive whole – it was copied by hand or broken across lines. Press the button in the email instead, or ask for a new link.
  • “Incorrect email or password” when you sign in. Check the email address for typos; if it’s right, reset the password.
  • “Account is disabled”. Your RampMates account has been switched off, and a reset won’t help – no reset email is sent to a disabled account. Ask your hangar admin to contact RampMates support.
