Hangar settings

Hangar settings is where a hangar admin sets up the whole hangar. Only admins see it: it’s in the sidebar below the everyday screens, and on a phone it’s in the More tab. The hangar’s name is under the heading, so you can tell which hangar you’re changing if you’re in more than one.

The tabs

Tab	What it’s for
Fleet	Every aircraft in the hangar. Add, reorder and archive aircraft; a tail number opens that aircraft’s own settings.
Members	Who’s in the hangar, what they can do, and which aircraft they may fly.
Booking rules	How the hangar books its aircraft – slot size, lengths, caps and lead time.
Maintenance tasks	The task types that show up when somebody logs maintenance.
Supplies	Quick picks for maintenance logging – oil, filters, whatever the shop uses.
Fuel payment methods	Quick picks for fuel purchases – the cards and accounts the club buys fuel on.

Each tab has its own address, so you can bookmark one or send the link to another admin. Back in your browser moves between the tabs you’ve visited.

What isn’t here

• An aircraft’s own settings – its hourly rate, oil interval, hours and so on – are one level down: open Fleet and press its tail number. They’re per aircraft because two aircraft in one fleet can be priced differently and based at different airports.
• Billing has its own entry beside Hangar settings.
• Your own notifications are per person, not per hangar. See Choose what you’re notified about.
• The hangar’s name can’t be changed here. Contact RampMates support.
