RampMates looks out of date

pilotadminmechanicA reload fixes almost every case. Clearing the site’s data is for the rare one it doesn’t.
Reload first
Section titled “Reload first”Most screens show what was there when you opened them, and don’t update while you look at them. If someone has just started a flight, reported a squawk or logged fuel, you see it after a reload. The Schedule is the exception: it keeps itself up to date while it’s open.
A reload also picks up a new version of RampMates, if one came out while the app was open.
- On a computer: press the browser’s reload button, or Ctrl+R (Cmd+R on a Mac).
- In a phone’s browser: press the reload button by the address. Pulling the page down doesn’t reload RampMates.
- From an icon on your home screen: close RampMates completely – swipe it away in the app switcher – and open it again.
Still old after a reload? Clear the site’s data once
Section titled “Still old after a reload? Clear the site’s data once”If RampMates still looks like an older version after a reload, your browser is holding on to an old copy. Clearing RampMates’ site data fixes it, and you only need to do it once.
Nothing in your hangar is lost: flights, bookings and settings are all kept by RampMates, not your browser. What your browser forgets is:
- that you’re signed in – you sign in again
- which hangar and aircraft you were on – RampMates opens your first hangar and an aircraft you can use in it
- your Dark or Auto choice, which goes back to Light
Then, in your browser:
- Chrome on a computer: press the icon at the left end of the address bar, open Site settings, and press Delete data.
- Safari on a Mac: Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data, search for rampmates, then Remove.
- Safari on an iPhone or iPad: the Settings app → Safari (under Apps on newer versions) → Advanced → Website Data. Find rampmates.com, swipe left on it and press Delete.
- Chrome on Android: ⋮ → Settings → Site settings → All sites → rampmates.com, then delete its data.
- Any other browser: look in its privacy settings for the data a single site stores, and remove rampmates.com’s.
Open RampMates again and sign in.
