The RampMates Help guide

RampMates now has a user guide, the one you’re reading. Each page answers one question – how to book an aircraft, log an oil change, split a flight, invite a member – with the steps in the order you press things, and the app’s own words for every button.

Finding a page

• Search is at the top of every page. Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) from anywhere to jump to it.
• Search the way you’d say it. “Ticket” finds squawks, “dispatch” finds checking out, “waitlist” finds standby.
• Narrow the results to your role with the role filter: pilot, admin or mechanic.
• The Glossary explains every RampMates word in a sentence or two.

Help from inside the app

Most screens of RampMates link straight to their own page of this guide; the rest open the guide’s home page, with search at the top. It opens in a new tab, so you don’t lose your place:

• Help at the bottom of the sidebar, on a computer
• Help in the More tab, on a phone
• the ? icon beside the close button of dialogs such as Start flight, Log a flight and Oil changes
